Cookie policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Haba Social uses, what each one does, and how to control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use local storage, which works in a similar way but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it back to us with each request. We refer to both as cookies in this policy.

2. Strictly necessary

These keep the service working and secure. They cannot be switched off, and we do not need your consent for them.

3. Functional

These remember the preferences you set, so the app looks and behaves the way you left it.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and where they get stuck, so we can improve the product. These cookies are only set once you consent, and the data is aggregated rather than used to identify you personally.

5. Marketing

We use the Meta Pixel to measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. These cookies are only set once you consent.

6. Your choices

Analytics and marketing cookies are only placed if you agree to them, and you can change your mind at any time. You can also:

  • block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the service from working;
  • opt out of Google Analytics across every site using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; and
  • manage how Meta uses your activity for advertising in your Meta ad preferences.

7. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the cookies we use change, and the date at the top shows the current version. Our privacy policy explains more about how we handle personal data. Questions go to [email protected].
